THE THIRD ORDER
The Modern Mystery School is a pure and unbroken lineage that has been carefully transmitted through those who rise, through extraordinary service and self-mastery, to become Master Teachers and Lineage Holders. These Lineage Holders of the school comprise an administrative body known as The Third Order.
The name Third Order does not refer to there being three lineage holders. Rather, it reflects the principle that a minimum of three Lineage Holders are required to constitute this administrative order. The title itself comes from the Kabbalistic understanding of the flow of energy originating from Spirit at the top of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life, signified by a glyph representing the balance of three immutable and incorruptible energies coming together as one integrated and radiant force.
Gudni Gudnason
Founder of the Modern Mystery School, he was entrusted by the inner mystery school lineage of King Salomon with the mission of establishing this public-facing branch of the lineage in 1997. In recognition of his extraordinary service and unwavering dedication to this mission, he has been given the honorific title of “Founder” by his students, whose profound gratitude reflects their recognition that they are the beneficiaries of his life’s work. Within the lineage, he also holds the titles of Hierophant and Sovereign Ipsissimus.
As a master teacher of Esoteric and Metaphysical Keys, Founder Gudni Gudnason teaches through allegory, symbolism, and dialectic inquiry. His teachings are designed to unfold over time, challenging students to cultivate discernment through direct experience. In this way, deeper understanding emerges naturally, revealing the inner meaning of the teachings as each student is prepared to receive them.

Dave Lanyon
Leader of the Modern Mystery School for the Western world. Having attained the highest initiation within this tradition, he holds the title of Sovereign Ipsissimus. As such, he holds all the Keys of the lineage, serving as an anchor of the lineage and its mission of world peace throughout the Western world.
Through his business acumen, guidance, and unwavering dedication to the mission, Sovereign Ipsissimus Dave Lanyon has guided the Modern Mystery School through extraordinary international growth while faithfully preserving the integrity of its teachings and lineage. As a world-class martial artist and Ritual Master teacher, he leads the Warriors of Light, the martial arts branch of the school, where the esoteric teachings are preserved within the martial disciplines.
He is a master teacher of Hermetic and Esoteric Wisdom known for transmitting profound, high-level teachings with remarkable clarity and practicality. Although his communication is stylistically simple, he draws upon highly developed intuition to teach each student according to their level of understanding while simultaneously planting seeds for future realization, cultivating discernment, and helping students to meet life with greater equanimity.
He is an initiated Knight Templar, a High Priest of Egyptian Magick, a Master of Enochian Magick, and a specialist in Viking, Celtic, and Egyptian Shamanism.
Dave Lanyon, Sovereign Ipsssimus of the Modern Mystery School in the West
Hideto Nakagome
Leader of the Modern Mystery School of the East, having attained the highest initiation in this tradition, he holds the title of Sovereign Ipsissimus and serves as an anchor of the lineage and its mission of world peace from its headquarters in Tokyo. He is an initiated Knight Templar, a Priest of Mikkyo Esoteric Buddhism, and a Viking, Celtic, and Egyptian Shaman.
Before assuming leadership of the Modern Mystery School of the East, Sovereign Ipsissimus Hideto Nakagome lived as Buddhist monk, serving as the security detail for the Dalai Lama. He later traveled the world as an international businessman, bringing together spiritual discipline and practical leadership.
Born into a traditional Japanese Samurai (Bushi) Family, he draws upon this heritage in his work as head of the Ensofic Ray Reiki Institute, a master instructor of Kabbalah, and master teacher of Esoteric wisdom.
Known for combining profound wisdom with warmth, humor, and wit, he is both deeply respected and genuinely beloved by his students around the world.

THE COUNCIL OF TWELVE WOMEN
GOVERNING IPSISSIMUS & IPSISSIMA COUNCIL
The Council of Twelve Women are an administrative body whose structure is also based on the Kabbalistic understanding of the way energy flows through the Tree of Life. These women anchor specific energies and are given the title of Divina. There are six council members in the East and six in the West.
Many of the members of the Council of Twelve Women comprise the Governing Ipsissimus and Ipsissima Council. This council is composed of leaders and Master Teachers of the lineage who have served with immense dedication and are lineage holders of specific teachings. They have been initiated into the title and authority of Ipsissimus within the lineage of King Salomon by the members of the Third Order.
