This is a closer look at the symbolism behind the characters in the world of He-Man and She-Ra and a comparison between the two counterparts. As mentioned in the previous post, King Solomon's most important life work was compiling and distilling the most effective teachings and healings, and many of the mythological stories that carry the teachings, were woven into the Solomonic lineage.
SHE-RA
He-Man iconography also contains similar interweaving between ancient mythologies that hold archetypal teachings. For instance, He-Man takes inspiration from Viking lore and his twin sister, Adora, becomes She-Ra, which can be interpreted as another way of saying, “Female Ra”. In Egyptian mythology, the female form of Ra, the sun god, would be Isis, the goddess who wears a solar disc that is held up between two horns. Moreover, it is fitting that the writers would make the connection between the two counterparts, as the Vikings were well-known to wear horned helmets into battle.
THE SWORD OF POWER AND THE SWORD OF PROTECTION
In comparing He-Man and She-Ra, it is notable that He-Man holds the sword of power and that She-Ra holds the sword of protection. This is a reference to ancient Kabbalistic teachings that are held in the mystery school of the two sides of ruling (the self). One is that of power, represented by Mars, the planetary and the emblematic God associated with these planetary energies, which are linked to war and justice, as well as cutting away those parts of the lower self that are impediments to the progression to the higher aspect of the self.
The other side is that of protection, represented on the opposite side of the path of balance, by the planet Jupiter as well as the God, Jove, who embodies these planetary energies of the peaceful ruler and protector of the people.
ETERNIA AND ETHERIA
Additionally, He-Man comes from Eternia, and this would be a reference to a core belief of the mystery schools that we are here (on earth) experiencing a physical existence as eternal beings. Likewise, there is a precept in ancient Kabbalistic teachings (that are also held by the mystery schools) that states, "In thought and word and deed, I rest my life, from day to day, upon the sure foundation of eternal being."

Similarly, She-Ra is from Etheria, and this relates to Etheric energy which according to Metaphysics, is a vital component of human energy in the aura as well as the energy of the planet (Earth). Additionally, the twelve moons of planet Etheria is likely a reference to the twelve full moons that are experienced in a (normal) year on Earth.
