He-Man and the Masters of the Universe - guide to becoming a master of the Universe (part 1)

The characters and stories behind the early He-Man cartoons closely align with the symbology and teachings of the ancient Mystery School lineage. This oral tradition goes back over three thousand years, to when King Salomon gathered the experts of his time to combine the most effective healings and teachings. Certainly, the originators of this story, in wanting to create a deep and expansive story, knew that the most intricate narrative web that they could draw on was that of the ancient Solomonic lineage based on the very fabric of the cosmos, and those energies and intelligences. In fact, throughout history, culture is filled with these stories that come from initiates of the secret orders, placed out in the open yet, unknown in origin to the public. In 1997, Gudni Gudnason was given permission to create a mystery school that opened its doors to the public, which operates today as the Modern Mystery School, thus some of the more fundamental ideas can be discussed.
Among the teachings in the Solomonic lineage, is the symbolic idea that man is here to regain his crown, which is the quest for empowerment that befalls each person universally. On the most basic level, from the mystery school point of view, this relates to the crown chakra and our connection to Universal source energy and flow; our ability to create and manifest in life. On another level, this also relates to self-worth and self-confidence, which usually needs to be restored in one way or another; along with finding true purpose in life and living up to one's best and highest potential, which are concerns that also relate to the third-eye chakra. Moreover, these teachings, which we know as Metaphysics, were formerly referred to as Kingcraft or the Study of Regal Principle.
PRINCE ADAM
In Hebrew, Adam can mean the first man as well as all humanity. Thus, we have Prince Adam, the individual as well as all initiates, empowered by the sword, on a quest to become greater (as princes are groomed to be kings). In the language of the mystery schools, this is called the Adam Kadmon, a more highly self-realized being living in flow with the powers of the universe and the best and highest version of the self. Moreover, if we look at his early battle armor, we see the emblem of the red cross. Edmund Spenser, 16th century author of the twelve-book epic poem, The Faerie Queen, draws directly from the Medieval knights tales and begins Book One of the Faerie Queen with, "The legend of the Knight of the Red Cross, or of Holiness". And this first book is dedicated to the Red Cross knight's quest and the trials (of the lower self) that he must overcome.
CASTLE GRAYSKULL
Castle Grayskull is a metaphor for the mind. So, when he proclaims, "By the power of Grayskull, I have the power!" this refers to the mystery school precept of living with intention rather than reacting from emotion. There is also a display of physical energy with this proclamation, because without the energy work behind the teachings, there is only theory; and consequently, according to Metaphysical teachings, there is no accelerated metamorphosis if there is only theory without the transmission of energy.

SKELETOR
Similarly, the character of Skeletor, is representative of the forces of the negative ego deep within (Prince Adam, aka all of us). The ego's most basic task is self-preservation and similarly, the skeletal system as the framework of the body, is necessary for life. But the skeleton, in the absence of the vital organs, such as the heart, has a menacing presence in most lore, due to the associations with death.
MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE
Furthermore, the phrase, The Masters of the Universe is a reference to fully mastering the ego, as it is the goal of initiates to master the ego as one of the great “ascended masters”, such as Christ or Buddha, has exemplified.
