The gifts of the planets
In our year of unprecedented planetary alignments, it is interesting to reflect on how the ancient Hermeticists understood the planets as archetypal powers that generate the emotional and psychological capacities of humanity.
This is a meditation on “The Gifts of the Planets” from the Kore Kosmou:
The Sun spoke: 'I will shine all the more."
Moon promised to light up her course in Sun's wake. She added that she had already engendered Fear, Silence, Sleep, and Memory that would be useful to human beings.
Saturn announced that he was already the father of Justice and Necessity.
Jupiter spoke: 'So that the future race might not totally devote themselves to war, I have already fathered for their benefit Fortune, Hope, and Peace.'
Mars said that he was already the father of Struggle, Wrath, and Strife.
Venus asserted without hesitation: 'To them, Master, I will yoke Desire, Pleasure, Laughter so that the souls akin to me, who suffer the most horrid condemnation, might not be punished beyond measure.'
CLEANING AND CHARGING CRYSTALS
Cleaning and Charging Crystals:
Crystals must be cleaned each time they are used by a practitioner to rebalance a person's etheric or auric field, such as in the Life Activation. They can be cleaned less frequently when used as jewelry or room anchors, but regular cleaning is still beneficial for most stones. Crystals can be cleansed (in the metaphysical sense) by submersion in salt for twenty-four hours; however, the fastest way to clean a crystal is through smudging the stone using sage, cedar, sandalwood, or incense, such as Nag Champa.
How to make Crystal Water AKA Gem Elixirs
Traditional uses of Gem Elixirs and Crystal water:
Clear quartz elixir, taken internally, has traditionally been used to assist in the elimination of toxins from the body; for healing digestive issues; as well as for support in healing kidney and bladder infections.
Rose quartz as an elixir, it has been used to promote clear skin and soften the complexion while stimulating the energy of love.
